May 9, 2025: Burbank, IL 60459 In Friday's league test, the St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) softball squad got by the visiting Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL), by a tally of 1-0.
Next, the Vikings clash with the Latin Romans (Chicago, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 10. St. Laurence will attempt to advance on its 15-5 season record. The Romans go into the test with a 3-8 record after their 20-0 non-league loss to Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL).
The Celtics (15-9) will now prepare for their test against Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 12-11 record. In their last test, Evergreen Park was nudged by Tinley Park (Tinley Park, IL), 3-1, in a league test.
