Illinois High School Softball - Shepard bounces Providence Catholic
March 26, 2025: Palos Heights, IL 60463 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Shepard Astros (Palos Heights, IL) and the visiting Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL), observed Shepard's softball team prevail over Providence Catholic by a tally of 10-0.
The Astros (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Thunderbolts go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Andrew knocked off Huntley (Huntley, IL), 8-7, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Celtics battle the Oak Forest Bengals (Oak Forest, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 27. Providence Catholic will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Bengals go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL).
