March 27, 2025: Palos Heights, IL 60463 The Andrew Thunderbolts softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Shepard Astros to 0 in the Thunderbolts non-league win on Thursday.
The Thunderbolts now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Providence Catholic for a non-league battle on Monday, March 31. Andrew will confront a Celtics team coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Celtics record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Shepard moves to 2-1 on the season. The Astros travel to Joliet West (Joliet, IL) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Monday, March 31. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 0-3. Joliet West lost 6-4 in their recent non-league battle against Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL)
