Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now own a 18-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain Heritage for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 13. Starmount will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 17-2.

With the loss, Cherokee falls to 8-11 on the campaign.
