Union Hill Bulldogs (Gilmer, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Saltillo Lions (Saltillo, TX), 11-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Union Hill upgrades its record to 10-12 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Neches (Neches, TX) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, May 16. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 16-9. Neches won 8-2 in their recent non-league test against Sulphur Bluff (Sulphur Bluff, TX)

With the defeat, Saltillo falls to 10-5 on the season.
