New York High School Softball - Clarence holds off Lancaster
May 10, 2024: Clarence, NY 14031 Clarence Red Devils (Clarence, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lancaster Legends (Lancaster, NY), 5-3 in a league challenge.
The Red Devils now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they host Sweet Home for a Section 6 Erie County I challenge on Monday, May 13. Clarence will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 12-10 non-league loss to Hamburg (Hamburg, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Lancaster falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Legends travel to Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY) to battle the Flames in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Flames enter the challenge with a record of 11-4. Williamsville East won 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against West Seneca West (West Seneca, NY)
