The Clarence Red Devils (Clarence, NY) softball nipped the visiting Frontier Falcons (Hamburg, NY), 3-2 in Thursday's league bout.

The Red Devils (10-4) will now prepare for their bout against Lancaster (Lancaster, NY). The Legends go into the Section 6 Erie County I bout with a 7-6 record. In their last bout, Lancaster was edged by Nardin Academy (Buffalo, NY), 4-0, in a non-league bout.
