May 10, 2024: Worcester, MA 01603 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Millbury Woolies (Millbury, MA) and the host South Colonels (Worcester, MA), witnessed Millbury's softball squad tip South by a count of 4-3.
The Woolies now sport a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Grafton for a South Worc Cty - East match on Monday, May 13. Millbury will face a Gators squad coming off a 19-4 league loss to Oxford (Oxford, MA). The Gators record now stands at 1-13.
With the loss, South moves to 3-9 on the season. The Colonels travel to North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Monday, May 13. The Patriots go into the match with a record of 3-13. North Middlesex Regional lost 9-6 in their recent league match against Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA)
