Indiana High School Softball - Winchester Community sneaks past Union City

May 10, 2025: Winchester, IN 47394

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Winchester Community Golden Falcons softball team scored a tight 3-2 win over the Union City Indians.

The Golden Falcons (10-5) will now prepare for their match against Knightstown (Knightstown, IN). The Panthers come into the Tri-Eastern match with a 9-9 record. In their last match, Knightstown was nipped by Tri (Straughn, IN), 9-7, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) in a Tri-Eastern match, on Tuesday, May 13. Union City will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 8-5 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Monroe Central (Parker City, IN).
