May 11, 2023: Las Cruces, NM 88011 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM), by a margin of 9-4.
With the triumph, Centennial moves its record to 29-0 on the year. The Hawks travel to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM) to play the Panthers in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 11. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 24-3. Piedra Vista won 15-0 in their recent non-league contest against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM)
In their next game, the Trojans play the Alamogordo Tigers (Alamogordo, NM) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 11. Mayfield will attempt to move on its 16-13 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 20-7 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Hobbs (Hobbs, NM).
