New Mexico High School Softball - Cleveland bounces Mayfield
February 18, 2023: Las Cruces, NM 88007 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) and the host Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM), witnessed Cleveland's softball squad tip Mayfield by a count of 13-8.
The Storm now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Centennial for a non-league match on Saturday, February 25.
With the loss, Mayfield moves to 3-1 on the season. The Trojans host Hobbs (Hobbs, NM) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, February 24. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 0-0.
