In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Newtown Nighthawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hand Tigers.

The Nighthawks (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT). The Cougars come into the South-West battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Kolbe-Cathedral achieved victory over New Milford (New Milford, CT), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
