Connecticut High School Volleyball - New Milford overwhelmed by Newtown

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Newtown Nighthawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the New Milford Green Wave.

The Nighthawks (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Cheshire (Cheshire, CT). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Cheshire achieved victory over Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Green Wave clash with the Xavier Falcons (Middletown, CT) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 9. New Milford will attempt to advance on its 1-13 season record. The Falcons come into the battle with a 7-7 record after their 3-2 league win over Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT).
