Indiana High School Softball - Crown Point nudges New Palestine
May 11, 2024: New Palestine, IN 46163 Crown Point Bulldogs (Crown Point, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 20-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Porte for a Duneland challenge on Tuesday, May 14. Crown Point will battle a Slicers squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN). The Slicers record now stands at 13-9.
With the loss, New Palestine falls to 18-2 on the campaign. The Dragons host Plainfield (Plainfield, IN) to battle the Quakers in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. The Quakers enter the challenge with a record of 19-6. Plainfield won 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Ben Davis (Indianapolis, IN)
