New Hampshire High School Softball - Newfound Regional can't hold off Gilford
May 11, 2024: Gilford, NH 03249 The Gilford Golden Eagles softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Newfound Regional Bears to 2 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Gilford improves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Golden Eagles host Hopkinton (Contoocook, NH) to clash with the Hawks in a Division III game on Monday, May 13. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 5-6.
In their next game, the Bears clash with the Newport Tigers (Newport, NH) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 13. Newfound Regional will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record.
