The Grove City Eagles triumphed over the host Franklin Knights baseball squad by a score of 12-2 in Monday's league outing.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Clarion Area Bobcats (Clarion, PA) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, May 13. Grove City will attempt to advance on its 14-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the outing with a 13-2 record after their 5-2 league win over Redbank Valley (New Bethlehem, PA).

The Knights (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against Oil City (Oil City, PA). The Oilers come into the District 10 Region 2 outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, Oil City was overwhelmed by Titusville (Titusville, PA), 2-1, in a league outing.
