The Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) baseball trounced the host Central Knights (Providence, RI), 11-4 in Thursday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Huskies play the East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI) in a State Championship Division contest, on Friday, May 13. Mt. Hope will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Townies come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 4-0 league loss to Moses Brown (Providence, RI).

With the defeat, Central falls to 10-8 on the season. The Knights travel to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI) to encounter the Skippers in a State Championship Division challenge on Friday, May 13.
