South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 15-11 on the season.

With the defeat, Lake Norman falls to 16-11 on the season.
