Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Providence upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Independence (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Patriots in a Southwestern 4A test on Tuesday, March 29. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 4-7. Independence lost 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

With the defeat, South Mecklenburg falls to 5-5 on the season. The Sabres host Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Knights in a So Meck 4A test on Tuesday, March 29. The Knights come into the test with a record of 6-3. Ardrey Kell won 1-0 in their recent league test against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC)
