In Thursday's non-league contest, the Tipton Blue Devils (Tipton, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN), by a margin of 17-4.

With the triumph, Tipton moves its record to 5-13 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to West Lafayette (West Lafayette, IN) to play the Red Devils in a Hoosier contest on Friday, May 13. The Red Devils come into the contest with a record of 1-16. West Lafayette lost 15-8 in their recent non-league contest against Rossville (Rossville, IN)

In their next game, the Trojans play the Carroll Cougars (Flora, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland contest, on Friday, May 13. Tri-Central will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 8-9 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Winamac (Winamac, IN).
