May 12, 2025: Sauk Rapids, MN 56379 The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets to 0 in the Storm non-league win on Monday.
The Storm now own a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host St. Cloud Cathedral for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. Sauk Rapids-Rice will play a Crusaders team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN). The Crusaders record now stands at 22-7.
With the defeat, Cambridge-Isanti drops to 6-8 on the year. The Bluejackets travel to North Branch (North Branch, MN) to play the Vikings in a Mississippi 8 test on Tuesday, May 13.
