May 17, 2025: Princeton, MN 55371 The Princeton Tigers baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm to 2 in the Tigers non-league win on Saturday.
The Tigers now hold a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milaca for a non-league test on Monday, May 19. Princeton will play a Wolves team coming off a 13-4 non-league loss to Pierz (Pierz, MN). The Wolves record now stands at 2-17.
With the defeat, Sauk Rapids-Rice drops to 6-9 on the year. The Storm host Willmar (Willmar, MN) to play the Cardinals in a Central Lakes test on Monday, May 19. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 3-11.
