New York High School Lacrosse - Palmyra-Macedon bounces Avon
May 12, 2025: Palmyra, NY 14522 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders (Palmyra, NY) and the visiting Avon Braves (Avon, NY), witnessed Palmyra-Macedon's lacrosse squad top Avon by a count of 20-4.
The Red Raiders (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Gananda Central (Walworth, NY). The Blue Panthers enter the Section 5 Finger Lakes II contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Gananda Central was overwhelmed by Brockport (Brockport, NY), 18-3, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Braves meet the Wayne Eagles (Ontario Center, NY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 15. Avon will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 7-5 record after their 20-9 non-league win over Newark (Newark, NY).
