The DeMotte Christian Knights softball squad (DeMotte, IN), was routed 13-0 in Monday's league contest with the visiting South Newton Rebels (Kentland, IN)

With the triumph, South Newton improves its record to 7-8 on the year. The Rebels travel to Iroquois West (Gilman, IL) to face the Raiders in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 13. The Raiders enter the contest with a record of 9-14. Iroquois West lost 7-2 in their recent league test against Salt Fork (Sidell, IL)

The Knights (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Marquette Catholic (Michigan City, IN). The Blazers go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record.
