Leo Lions (Leo, IN) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Huntington North Vikings (Huntington, IN), 10-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Leo upgrades its record to 18-4 on the year. The Lions host Columbia City (Columbia City, IN) to play the Eagles in a Northeast Eight game on Wednesday, May 14. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 14-3. Columbia City won 1-0 in their recent league game against East Noble (Kendallville, IN)

The Vikings now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Norwell for a Northeast Eight game on Wednesday, May 14. Huntington North will play a Knights squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to DeKalb (Waterloo, IN). The Knights record now stands at 11-7.
