The New Castle Trojans softball squad (New Castle, IN), was routed 11-0 in Monday's league contest with the visiting New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN)

With the triumph, New Palestine improves its record to 19-1 on the year. The Dragons travel to Fishers (Fishers, IN) to face the Tigers in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 14. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 12-7. Fishers won 12-0 in their recent non-league contest against Carmel (Carmel, IN)

The Trojans now hold a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Yorktown for a Hoosier Heritage contest on Tuesday, May 13. New Castle will face a Tigers squad coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Noblesville (Noblesville, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 13-4.
