Kentucky High School Softball - Harrison County bounces Fleming County
May 13, 2024: Cynthiana, KY 41031 Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Thorobreds now own a 28-6 record. They take the field next when they host Bryan Station for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 16. Harrison County will battle a Defenders squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Lafayette (Lexington, KY). The Defenders record now stands at 18-10.
With the loss, Fleming County falls to 12-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 16. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 24-6. Montgomery County lost 9-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY)
