In Tuesday's league bout, the Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Southern Wells Raiders (Poneto, IN), by a tally of 10-4.

Next up, the Patriots encounter the Heritage Patriots (Monroeville, IN) in a Allen County bout, on Thursday, May 15. Jay County will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 13-3 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Churubusco (Churubusco, IN).
