Virginia High School Soccer - Hickory knocks off Nansemond River
May 13, 2025: Chesapeake, VA 23322 In Tuesday's league outing, the host Hickory Hawks soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Nansemond River Warriors.
The Hawks (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies go into the Southeastern outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Grassfield got by Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA), 5-2, in a league outing.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern outing, on Thursday, May 15. Nansemond River will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Bruins go into the outing with a 6-6 record after their 1-0 league loss to Hickory (Chesapeake, VA).
