The Walled Lake Western Warriors softball squad (Walled Lake, MI), was routed 19-3 in Tuesday's league contest with the host South Lyon East Cougars (South Lyon, MI)

With the triumph, South Lyon East improves its record to 13-14 on the year. The Cougars host Lakeland (White Lake, MI) to face the Eagles in a Lakes Valley contest on Tuesday, May 20. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 18-8.

The Warriors now hold a 6-14 record. They play next when they host Lakeland for a Lakes Valley contest on Thursday, May 15. Walled Lake Western will face a Eagles squad coming off a 14-3 league win over Mott (Waterford, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 16-8.
