In Wednesday's league game, the host McDowell Trojans baseball team scored a close 1-0 win over the General McLane Lancers.

The Trojans (13-5) will now prepare for their game against St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY). The Marauders go into the non-league game with a 7-9 record. In their last game, St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute was tipped by Canisius (Buffalo, NY), 15-0, in a league game.
