May 14, 2025: Newburgh, NY 12550 Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY) followers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting Middletown Middie Bears (Middletown, NY), 4-2 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Newburgh Free Academy advances its record to 1-8 on the season. The Goldbacks travel to Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY) to play the Crusaders in a non-league game on Thursday, May 15. The Crusaders come into the game with a record of 5-2. Monroe-Woodbury lost 12-3 in their recent non-league game against Goshen Central (Goshen, NY)
