Game Summary
After advancing to the final of the Bremen Tourney, the Lady Lions found themselves in a pitching duel. Alexis Antal for Westview & Hanna Depoy battled back & forth from the circle. The Lions first reached first base when Depoy walked in the 2nd,. After a sacrifice bunt by Ellia Foster, Antal was able to shut down the Lion threat. Depoy was perfect thru 3 innings, finally surrendering a hit in the 4th. That threat was nulled when the Lion defense of Foster, Paige Thompson & Katie Moyer turned a perfect 6-4-3 double play to end the inning. Again in the 5th, the Warriors reached first on an error, then 2nd on a wild pitch that allowed the runner to advance to 2nd. The threat was nullified by a double play. The Warriors final broke thru on the scoreboard after a two base throwing error, and a pair of ground outs to the right side that scored the lone run of the game.
