Illinois High School Baseball - Sycamore defeats Marmion
May 15, 2024: Sycamore, IL 60178 Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sycamore upgrades its record to 19-7 on the season. The Spartans host Dixon (Dixon, IL) to battle the Dukes & Duchesses in a non-league test on Thursday, May 16. The Dukes & Duchesses come into the test with a record of 16-9. Dixon lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Sterling (Sterling, IL)
With the defeat, Marmion falls to 14-12 on the season. The Cadets travel to Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL) to battle the Falcons in a non-league test on Saturday, May 18. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 7-20. Wheaton North lost 10-2 in their recent league test against Lake Park (Roselle, IL)
