The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Clinton Prairie Gophers (Frankfort, IN) and the visiting Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN), saw Clinton Prairie's baseball team gain a win over Tri-Central by a tally of 14-5.

The Gophers (15-5) will now prepare for their battle against Delphi Community (Delphi, IN). The Oracles enter the non-league battle with a 14-9 record. In their last battle, Delphi Community was overwhelmed by Sheridan (Sheridan, IN), 8-6, in a league battle.

Next, the Trojans face the Rossville Hornets (Rossville, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland battle, on Friday, May 16. Tri-Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Hornets enter the battle with a 17-4 record after their 5-4 league win over Clinton Prairie (Frankfort, IN).
