Virginia High School Softball - Western Branch bounces Nansemond River

May 15, 2025: Chesapeake, VA 23321

In Thursday's league match, the host Western Branch Bruins softball team scored a nice 18-3 victory over the Nansemond River Warriors.

The Bruins (15-3) will now prepare for their match against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers go into the Southeastern match with a 4-12 record. In their last match, Oscar Smith was routed by Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA), 15-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern match, on Tuesday, May 20. Nansemond River will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the match with a 8-8 record after their 16-14 league win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA).
