The Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) softball routed the visiting King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA), 15-1 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Bruins now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hickory for a Southeastern outing on Thursday, May 8. Western Branch will encounter a Hawks team coming off a 7-3 league win over Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 16-1.

With the loss, King's Fork moves to 6-7 on the season. The Bulldogs host Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA) to encounter the Wildcats in a Southeastern outing on Thursday, May 8. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 11-3.
