The Franklin Central Flashes got by the host Brownsburg Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Flashes meet the Hamilton Southeastern Royals (Fishers, IN) in a Hoosier Crossroads challenge, on Tuesday, May 19. Franklin Central will attempt to upgrade on its 15-10 season record. The Royals go into the challenge with a 16-4 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Yorktown (Yorktown, IN).

The Bulldogs (16-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Fishers (Fishers, IN). The Tigers go into the Hoosier Crossroads challenge with a 14-8 record. In their last challenge, Fishers was nudged by Noblesville (Noblesville, IN), 9-7, in a league challenge.
