The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) and the host Griffith Panthers (Griffith, IN), saw Hanover Central's baseball team gain a win over Griffith by a tally of 11-4.

The Wildcats (19-4) will now prepare for their battle against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory (Indianapolis, IN). The Braves enter the non-league battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory was overwhelmed by University (Carmel, IN), 7-6, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers face the Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 21. Griffith will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record.
