The Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) baseball trounced the host Highland Trojans (Highland, IN), 20-5 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Illiana Christian for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 25. Hanover Central will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 16-0 league win over River Forest (Hobart, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 7-2.

With the defeat, Highland drops to 3-7 on the year. The Trojans host Hammond Central (Hammond, IN) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24. The Wolves go into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Hammond Central won 17-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Marquette Catholic (Michigan City, IN)
