Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV), 5-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Needles moves its record to 23-11 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Lake Mead Christian Academy (Henderson, NV) to confront the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, May 17. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 24-1. Lake Mead Christian Academy won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA)

The Lions now possess a 30-6 record.
