Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV), 13-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Needles advances its record to 22-10 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Lake Mead Christian Academy (Henderson, NV) to battle the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, May 16. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 23-1. Lake Mead Christian Academy won 8-7 in their recent non-league match against Needles (Needles, CA)

The Lions now have a 29-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Tahoe for a non-league match on Friday, May 16. Yerington will battle a Lakers squad coming off a 15-8 non-league loss to Yerington (Yerington, NV). The Lakers record now stands at 18-8.
