Fans at Friday's non-league test between the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) and the host Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC), witnessed Apex's lacrosse squad top Wakefield by a count of 19-10.

The Cougars (20-2) will now prepare for their test against Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 22-1 record. In their last test, Chapel Hill thwarted Apex Friendship (Apex, NC), 16-3, in a non-league test.
