Desert Scorpions (Edwards AFB, CA) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Trona Tornadoes (Trona, CA), 11-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Desert improves its record to 14-9 on the year. The Scorpions travel to Kern Valley (Lake Isabella, CA) to play the Broncs in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 20. The Broncs enter the game with a record of 14-7. Kern Valley won 24-0 in their recent non-league game against Kings Christian (Lemoore, CA)

The Tornadoes now hold a 11-7 record.
