The Brewer Bears softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Wylie Bulldogs to 7 in the Bears non-league win on Saturday.

The Bears now sport a 25-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hallsville for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 20. Brewer will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 30-7.

With the loss, Wylie moves to 26-16 on the season.
