Cranford Cougars (Cranford, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host St. Joseph Falcons (Metuchen, NJ), 5-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Cranford upgrades its record to 23-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to New Providence (New Providence, NJ) to battle the Pioneers in a Union County - Watchung test on Friday, May 19. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 2-7.

With the defeat, St. Joseph falls to 12-4 on the season. The Falcons travel to Bergen Catholic (Oradell, NJ) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league test on Thursday, May 18. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 15-3. Bergen Catholic won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ)
