May 17, 2023: Lynden, WA 98264 The Lynden Lions softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Squalicum Storm to 3 in the Lions league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Lynden moves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA) to clash with the Tigers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game on Wednesday, May 17. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 13-5. Burlington-Edison won 17-4 in their recent league test against Anacortes (Anacortes, WA)
The Storm (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Archbishop Murphy (Everett, WA). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Archbishop Murphy edged Bellingham (Bellingham, WA), 17-2, in a non-league test.
