Washington High School Softball - Mount Vernon bounces Squalicum
April 12, 2023: Mount Vernon, WA 98273 The Mount Vernon Bulldogs routed the visiting Squalicum Storm softball squad by a count of 9-0 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Cougars go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Lakewood topped Anacortes (Anacortes, WA), 11-1, in a league battle.
The Storm now sport a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Burlington-Edison for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Thursday, April 13. Squalicum will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 18-8 non-league win over Kingston (Kingston, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.
