Washington High School Softball - Mount Vernon bounces Nooksack Valley
April 24, 2023: Everson, WA 98247 The Mount Vernon Bulldogs (Mount Vernon, WA) softball routed the host Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA), 22-9 in Monday's league bout.
The Bulldogs (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Bellingham (Bellingham, WA). The Bayhawks go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Bellingham was routed by Squalicum (Bellingham, WA), 7-2, in a league bout.
The Pioneers now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Burlington-Edison for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Wednesday, April 26. Nooksack Valley will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-4.
