In Wednesday's league contest, the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings (Akron, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Manchester Squires (North Manchester, IN), by a margin of 9-0.

With the triumph, Tippecanoe Valley moves its record to 15-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to Warsaw (Warsaw, IN) to play the Tigers in a non-league contest on Friday, May 19. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 2-20. Warsaw lost 11-1 in their recent league contest against Mishawaka (Mishawaka, IN)

In their next game, the Squires play the Oak Hill Golden Eagles (Converse, IN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 18. Manchester will attempt to move on its 5-19 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the contest with a 8-10 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Western (Russiaville, IN).
